Work begins in earnest on the format of the next publication from HPM Media Ltd  "Spooky Stories" by Leighroy Marsh is a collection of dark verse written especially for children.

Several of the poems have already been enthusiastically received by audiences all over the north west with "Golden Arm" ( a sad tale of broken promises) being the firm favourite.

The Commander-in-Chief-of -the-World has a slightly more sinister air about it and carries a chilling warning about wasting your hours in front of a games console.

Miss Carr's Pies, takes a dark humourous look at cannibalism and has a twist in the tale that no-one expects.

Zombelina, (currently under production as a short film, and can soon be found on the www.hairyplugmonster.blogspot.com -  narrated by actor Steve Garry).  Is a sad and gruesome tale about lonliness and the lengths somebody will go to - to find company.

The Hairy Plug Monster has now been translated into Italian and an Arabic version is underway.  Sales of the HPM  triple over the month of November with further orders expected from Waterstones as bookings are made for readings and booksignings.

Adswood Primary School are selected as the chosen school to test out new material following my visit.  What started out as a 15 minute reading turned into a full day, with requests for me to return whenever I want.

The planned Borders event is thrown into disarray as the company enters into administration on the eve of my booksigning.  The reading still went ahead although staff apologised for not being able to extend the same hospitality that they would normally give to a visiting author.
